Description
The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE metric deep impact socket set gives automotive technicians, mechanics, and workshop professionals a versatile collection for demanding fastening tasks. Model 49-66-7015 includes 29 deep 6-point sockets with a 1/2-inch drive. Its forged steel construction, clear size markings, and organized storage case make this set a practical addition to professional tool collections and home garages.
Built for High-Torque Applications
Milwaukee designed its SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty sockets for use with compatible 1/2-inch drive impact wrenches, impact drivers, ratchets, and adapters. The high-strength forged steel construction supports demanding fastening applications, while the six-point design engages the flat sides of compatible fasteners.
Deep sockets provide extra reach when fasteners sit on long threaded studs or inside recessed assemblies. This makes the set useful for automotive maintenance, equipment repairs, machinery servicing, and general mechanical work. Always match the socket size to the fastener and use an appropriate tool for the job.
Complete Metric Socket Coverage
The 29-piece set includes deep metric sockets ranging from 8mm through 36mm. This broad selection helps users work with many metric fasteners without purchasing individual sockets separately.
The included sizes are 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, 23mm, 24mm, 25mm, 26mm, 27mm, 28mm, 29mm, 30mm, 31mm, 32mm, 33mm, 34mm, 35mm, and 36mm.
Clear Markings and Secure Socket Attachment
Milwaukee uses stamped, ink-filled size markings to help users identify sockets quickly. These markings improve readability during repeated workshop use and reduce the time spent searching for the correct size. Each socket also carries a laser-etched part number for identification.
The non-slip hex geometry helps maintain engagement with compatible fasteners and reduces the risk of rounding when users select the correct size and apply suitable technique. A dual-hole design and ring groove make attachment and removal easier with compatible retaining pins or rings.
Durable Case for Convenient Storage
The included impact-resistant case keeps the sockets organized between jobs. Its molded layout helps users identify missing pieces and return each socket to its designated position after use. Compatible cases also nest together for convenient stacking and storage, helping maintain a more orderly workshop or service vehicle.
This set suits mechanics, maintenance technicians, automotive enthusiasts, and tradespeople who regularly handle metric fasteners. Keep sockets clean and inspect them for cracks, deformation, or other damage before use. Replace damaged accessories promptly, and never use ordinary chrome sockets with impact tools unless the manufacturer specifically rates them for that purpose.
