Description
The M18 FUEL Hole Hawg right angle drill delivers powerful cordless performance for electricians, contractors, and professionals who need to drill large holes through wood framing. This 18V brushless drill combines a compact right-angle design with Milwaukee engineering to support demanding rough-in work. It helps tradespeople work efficiently in framing applications where standard drills may struggle with clearance.
Powerful Performance for Professional Drilling
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL GEN II Hole Hawg features a POWERSTATE brushless motor and REDLINK PLUS electronic intelligence. These technologies help deliver consistent performance under load while protecting the tool and battery against overloads and overheating. Its cordless design also eliminates the need for an extension cord at every drilling location.
The tool suits electrical installation, construction, and other applications that require repeated drilling through wood framing. Its right-angle configuration helps users reach tighter spaces between studs, joists, and other structural members.
Key Features and Specifications
The M18 FUEL Hole Hawg right angle drill uses an 18V lithium-ion battery and a durable 1/2-inch all-metal keyed chuck. The chuck helps secure compatible bits during demanding drilling operations. Milwaukee also includes a chuck key for bit changes.
Key specifications include:
- Model: 2807-20
- Voltage: 18V lithium-ion
- Motor: POWERSTATE brushless
- Chuck size: 1/2 inch, keyed
- Tool type: Cordless right-angle drill
- Lighting: Integrated LED work light
- Battery platform: Milwaukee M18
- Protection: REDLINK PLUS electronic intelligence
The manufacturer lists compatibility with all M18 batteries. Milwaukee also reports that the drill can produce up to 220 holes measuring 7/8 inch per charge when paired with an M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT 6.0Ah battery. Actual results depend on the material, bit, battery, and operating conditions.
Designed for Electrical and Construction Work
Electricians often need to drill multiple holes through framing to route wiring and install electrical systems. The Hole Hawg supports these tasks with a dedicated right-angle layout and brushless motor. Contractors can also consider it for suitable woodworking and framing applications when the bit and material match the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Its compact design helps with access in confined areas, while the LED light improves visibility around the immediate work surface. Always secure the workpiece, select a suitable bit, and maintain a stable grip before drilling.
What Comes in the Package?
The 2807-20 tool-only configuration includes the M18 FUEL Hole Hawg right angle drill and chuck key. Batteries and chargers are sold separately unless the selected listing specifically includes them. Check the package description carefully before ordering to confirm the exact contents.
For technical details, visit the official Milwaukee Tool product page. Review the Milwaukee manuals and product documentation for operating instructions and maintenance guidance. You can also consult OSHA construction safety resources for relevant workplace safety information.
Use appropriate eye and hearing protection, inspect bits before use, and keep loose clothing away from rotating components. Follow the operator’s manual, especially when drilling large holes that may cause sudden tool movement.
