Description
The M18 FUEL cordless mud mixer gives contractors a convenient way to mix heavy compounds without relying on a nearby electrical outlet. This 18V brushless tool suits construction, renovation, and finishing jobs that require consistent mixing of materials such as mortar and concrete. Its adjustable handle and multiple speed controls help users manage different mixing tasks with greater control for demanding everyday professional construction applications.
Power and Control for Demanding Mixing
Milwaukee equips the M18 FUEL mud mixer with a POWERSTATE brushless motor and REDLINK intelligence. These systems help the tool handle demanding workloads while monitoring performance and supporting protection against overloads. The cordless design lets you bring the mixer directly to the work area, reducing the need to position extension cords around buckets and materials.
The tool offers three ways to manage speed: an eight-position speed dial, a variable-speed trigger, and a lock-on button. Together, these controls help you start slowly, limit splashing, and adjust mixing speed to suit the compound and the mixing paddle. Always follow the material manufacturer’s instructions for mixing time and speed.
Adjustable Handle and Practical Features
The 180-degree adjustable handle provides 16 position settings, helping users choose a grip that suits the task and their working position. A 1/2-inch keyed chuck holds compatible mixing paddles, while the chuck key stores on the tool for convenient access. An integrated LED light helps illuminate the immediate work area in dim conditions.
Milwaukee states that the mixer can mix up to 15 five-gallon buckets per charge when using an M18 REDLITHIUM 5.0Ah battery. Actual runtime varies with the material, paddle, batch size, battery condition, and mixing technique.

Suitable Applications and Safe Operation
This mixer can support suitable batches of mortar, concrete, and other compatible construction compounds. Choose a paddle designed for the material, and never exceed the mixer’s stated capacity or the paddle manufacturer’s limits.
Before use, read the operator’s manual and inspect the tool, chuck, paddle, and battery. Secure the bucket, maintain a firm two-handed grip, and start at a low speed to reduce splashing. Wear appropriate eye protection, gloves, and other required protective equipment. Keep hands and loose clothing away from the rotating paddle, and disconnect the battery before changing accessories or cleaning the tool.
For reliable details, consult the official Milwaukee Tool product page and its support and manuals resources. Review relevant workplace guidance from OSHA before using power tools on a jobsite.
