Description
The Milwaukee 2867-20 M18 FUEL Impact Wrench delivers high torque and cordless convenience for demanding automotive, industrial, and construction applications. Designed for professionals who regularly handle large fasteners, this 18V tool combines a brushless motor, customizable controls, and ONE-KEY technology in a portable design. It offers a practical alternative to pneumatic equipment when you need powerful fastening performance without managing air hoses or a compressor.
Milwaukee 2867-20 M18 FUEL Impact Wrench Features
The POWERSTATE brushless motor delivers up to 1,800 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque and 1,500 ft-lbs of fastening torque, according to Milwaukee. This output supports demanding jobs involving heavy-duty fasteners, machinery, equipment maintenance, and suitable automotive or fleet service work.
The 1-inch square drive accommodates compatible impact-rated sockets designed for large fastening applications. Always choose sockets and accessories that match the drive size, fastener, and tool requirements. Use the correct tightening specifications for the equipment you are servicing rather than relying on maximum tool torque alone.
Four-Mode DRIVE CONTROL and ONE-KEY
The four-mode DRIVE CONTROL system lets users adjust speed and power for different applications. This flexibility helps you select a suitable operating mode when moving between fasteners and materials. Begin with an appropriate setting, then follow the equipment manufacturer’s torque specifications to avoid damaging threads, components, or fasteners.
ONE-KEY connectivity adds digital tool management and customization. Compatible features allow users to customize settings, track tools, and manage equipment through the ONE-KEY system. The platform also supports repeatable torque output settings for greater control in suitable applications. Review Milwaukee’s current ONE-KEY documentation to confirm feature availability and setup requirements for your device.
Ergonomics and Jobsite Convenience
Although it delivers heavy-duty performance, the tool weighs approximately 13 pounds with a battery, according to Milwaukee. Its design helps reduce weight compared with certain corded alternatives, making movement around a work area more convenient.
The tool-free adjustable handle rotates up to 270 degrees, allowing users to adjust their grip for different working positions. An integrated LED illuminates the immediate work area, while the premium rubber overmold supports handling comfort. A built-in lanyard loop provides an attachment point when an appropriate tether is required for elevated work.
REDLINK PLUS intelligence coordinates communication between the tool and compatible battery to help manage performance and protect against overload, overheating, and over-discharge. The wrench accepts Milwaukee M18 batteries, giving users within that platform flexibility when choosing compatible power packs.
For specifications, visit the official Milwaukee product page. Read the official operator’s manual before use, and explore the Milwaukee ONE-KEY platform for compatible digital management features.
Who Should Consider This Impact Wrench?
This model may suit automotive technicians, industrial maintenance crews, heavy-equipment service teams, and construction professionals who regularly work with large fasteners. Its high torque output and cordless design can help simplify suitable maintenance tasks in workshops, garages, and jobsite environments.
Always wear appropriate eye and hearing protection, secure the workpiece, and use impact-rated sockets. Keep hands clear of moving parts, inspect accessories before operation, and follow the service manual’s tightening and removal procedures. For critical assemblies, use a calibrated torque wrench where the manufacturer’s procedure requires precise final torque.
