Description
The Milwaukee M12 caulk and adhesive gun offers a convenient cordless solution for applying construction sealants and adhesives. Model 2442-21 features a 20 oz. aluminum barrel designed for sausage-style material packs. Its adjustable dispensing controls help contractors, installers, and maintenance professionals apply materials with greater consistency across a variety of construction and renovation projects.
Controlled Dispensing for Professional Applications
The Milwaukee M12 caulk and adhesive gun combines cordless operation with adjustable dispensing speed. Its 12V lithium-ion platform lets you work without a power cord, making it practical for installation sites, workshops, and maintenance jobs. The aluminum barrel keeps the dispensing assembly lightweight while accommodating compatible 20 oz. sausage packs.
The tool delivers up to 400 pounds of pushing force, helping dispense suitable construction sealants and adhesives. Its variable-speed trigger and maximum-speed dial give users two ways to regulate material flow. Start slowly when forming a bead, then adjust the speed to suit the material, joint size, and application requirements.
Anti-Drip Technology and Rotating Collar
The automatic reverse anti-drip mechanism retracts the plunger when you release the trigger. This feature helps reduce unwanted material flow after dispensing, keeping application areas cleaner and reducing waste. Results depend on the material’s consistency, temperature, and operating conditions.
A 360-degree rotating collar helps you position the barrel comfortably when working around corners or along awkward joints. The built-in seal puncture tool helps open compatible material containers, while the plunger’s integrated hook provides a convenient storage option between applications.

Practical Uses on the Jobsite
This cordless caulk gun suits sealing and bonding tasks involving compatible construction products. Contractors may use it for suitable joint sealing, window installation, construction assembly, and maintenance work. Always check the sealant or adhesive manufacturer’s instructions for container compatibility, surface preparation, application temperature, and curing requirements.
The tool can help maintain a steady bead during repetitive applications. However, correct material selection and technique remain essential for a suitable finished joint. Clean the barrel and nozzle according to the material manufacturer’s guidance, and never leave cured adhesive inside the dispensing assembly.
