Description
The DEWALT 60V MAX mixer drill kit is designed for construction professionals, tile installers, flooring contractors, and remodelers who need cordless power for demanding mixing and drilling tasks. Model DCD130T1 combines a brushless mixer/drill with a FLEXVOLT battery and charger, helping you prepare materials and complete compatible drilling applications without relying on a corded power source.
Powerful Mixing and Drilling Performance
The DEWALT 60V MAX mixer drill kit handles materials such as thinset, tile mortar, and fiber-reinforced concrete within the manufacturer’s guidelines. Its brushless motor supports demanding applications while maintaining convenient cordless operation. The tool also handles suitable drilling tasks in wood and metal when you use the correct bit and operating procedure.
DEWALT’s FLEXVOLT battery platform supplies power for this 60V MAX tool and remains compatible with many DEWALT 20V MAX tools. This gives professionals flexibility when organizing equipment for different jobs. Battery runtime depends on the material, batch size, mixing attachment, workload, and battery condition.
E-CLUTCH Technology for Added Control
The integrated anti-rotation E-CLUTCH system detects tool motion and shuts the mixer/drill down when necessary during a bind-up situation. A red indicator light illuminates when the system engages. This feature helps improve operator control, but it does not replace a secure grip, proper mixing technique, or safe handling practices.
The three-position side handle allows users to choose a comfortable grip for different applications. A continuous variable-speed trigger helps you control the mixing speed, which is important when gradually combining powders and liquids. Starting slowly can help reduce splashing and airborne dust, while controlled speed adjustments support more consistent material preparation.
Battery Runtime and Included Accessories
DEWALT reports that a DCB606 6.0Ah FLEXVOLT battery can mix up to 19 five-gallon buckets of premixed drywall compound, 17 five-gallon buckets of tile mortar, or nine 4.5-gallon buckets of concrete under its stated test conditions. These figures are manufacturer estimates, not guaranteed results for every job.
The DCD130T1 kit includes the mixer/drill, one DCB606 FLEXVOLT battery, one DCB118 fast charger, a side handle, a chuck key and holder, and a durable storage bag. This package provides the core equipment needed to get started without purchasing the battery and charger separately.
The mixer/drill features a keyed 1/2-inch chuck and a no-load speed of up to 600 RPM. Always select a suitable mixing paddle or drill bit and confirm its compatibility with the chuck and material. Follow the material manufacturer’s mixing instructions to avoid overworking compounds or damaging the equipment.
For detailed specifications, visit DEWALT’s official DCD130T1 kit page, compare it with the DCD130B tool-only version, and consult the official instruction manual. These resources help you verify compatibility, operating procedures, and maintenance requirements.
Work Safely on Every Project
Before mixing, inspect the tool, battery, handle, chuck, and attachment for damage. Secure the mixing paddle properly, use appropriate protective equipment, and keep loose clothing away from rotating parts. Follow the instructions for the compound you are preparing, especially when handling cement-based powders. Remove the battery before changing attachments or performing maintenance.
