Description
The Milwaukee 2522-20 M12 FUEL Cut Off Tool offers compact, cordless cutting performance for professionals and DIY users who need versatility in tight working areas. Its 12V M12 platform, brushless motor, and three included cutting accessories make it suitable for selected metal, tile, and other compatible material-cutting tasks. The lightweight design supports convenient handling when working around installations, workshop projects, and renovation jobs.
Milwaukee 2522-20 M12 FUEL Cut Off Tool Features
The Milwaukee 2522-20 operates at up to 20,000 RPM, delivering fast cutting performance in a compact package. Its POWERSTATE brushless motor is designed to provide efficient power and long motor life. The ergonomic, inline design supports one-handed operation when the application and safety requirements allow it.
A standout feature is reversible blade rotation. This lets you select the cutting direction to suit the material and work position, helping you manage debris and maintain control during suitable cuts. Always follow the operator’s manual when choosing blade direction and positioning the tool.
Three Cutting Accessories Included
The tool package includes three cutting accessories for different applications:
- Metal cut-off wheel: For compatible metal-cutting tasks.
- Diamond tile blade: For suitable tile-cutting applications.
- Carbide abrasive blade: For compatible materials specified by Milwaukee.
The package also includes a blade wrench, a 7/16-inch flange adapter, and a shoe guard. The tool accepts common 3-inch cut-off wheels with a 3/8-inch arbor, while the included adapter supports compatible 3-inch Dremel Saw-Max accessories. Check accessory specifications before fitting any replacement blade.
Adjustable Guard and Cutting Depth
The tool-free adjustable guard and shoe help users configure the cutting area for the task. The shoe includes a vacuum adapter for connecting compatible dust-extraction equipment, helping manage dust when used with an appropriate extraction setup. Cutting-depth adjustment also supports more controlled work when the material and application permit it.
An integrated LED light improves visibility in dim work areas, such as cabinets, installation spaces, and workshop corners. REDLINK PLUS intelligence helps optimize performance and provides overload protection when used with compatible Milwaukee M12 batteries.
For verified specifications, visit the official Milwaukee product page. Read the official operator’s manual before use, and explore the Milwaukee M12 tool platform for compatible battery options.
Who Should Choose This Compact Cut Off Tool?
This tool may suit electricians, installers, tile workers, maintenance technicians, and DIY users who need portable cutting capability for appropriate materials. Its compact body can be useful where larger saws are awkward, while interchangeable accessories offer flexibility across selected projects.
Use only blades rated for the tool’s speed and intended material. Wear eye protection, hearing protection, and suitable respiratory protection. Secure the workpiece, keep the guard correctly positioned, and allow the wheel to stop before setting the tool down. Never remove safety guards or force a blade through material.
